Srilanka, March 17 -- According to the latest Central Bank data, Sri Lanka's tourism industry generated 768.2 million in revenue during the first two months of 2025, marking a 12% increase compared to the same period last year.

This is the highest revenue recorded for January and February since 2020.

The government aims to attract 3 million tourists in 2025, targeting revenue exceeding 5 billion.
