Srilanka, Feb. 21 -- A recent report from the Department of Census and Statistics reveals that Sri Lanka's headline inflation, as measured by the National Consumer Price Index (NCPI), further decreased to -4.0% in January 2025, down from -2.0% in December 2024.
Food inflation fell from -1.0% to -2.5%, while non-food inflation saw a significant drop, from -2.9% in December 2024 to -5.2% in January 2025.
