Srilanka, March 28 -- Around 40 donors have already registered, by Thursday 27, with the sperm bank that was recently established at the Castle Street Hospital for Women, Director of the hospital Dr. Ajith Dantanarayana said.

This is the first time such a sperm bank has been launched in Sri Lanka, he said, adding that they receive a large number of inquiries daily via telephone regarding sperm donation, and those interested are given appointments accordingly.
