Sri Lanka, Jan. 6 -- Sri Lanka's first modern kitchen at a government hospital inaugurated today (06) at Maharagama Apeksha Hospital.Sri Lanka Employment

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, the new Basnayake Nilame of the Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Devalaya, Arachchige Thilina Madhusankha, the former Basnayake Nilame Dishan Gunasekara, Hospital Director Aruna Jayatissa, Doctors, and other distinguished guests.

The project, initiated last year by the Kataragama Devalaya, has been completed at a cost exceeding Rs. 40 million.

The kitchen aims to provide nutritious and high-quality meals for all inpatients, improving both health and patient satisfaction.
