Sri Lanka, Dec. 9 -- Sri Lanka continues to receive widespread international assistance as the country recovers from the severe floods and weather-related disasters that have affected multiple districts. During a diplomatic briefing held at the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath updated Colombo-based Heads of Mission-along with Sri Lankan envoys who joined virtually-on the government's ongoing relief operations, community safety measures, and long-term recovery plans.
