Sri Lanka, March 1 -- The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has decided to approve another tranche for Sri Lanka under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).They met yesterday (28).
A tranche of US$ 344 million has been approved.
The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has completed the third review of the 48-month Extended Fund Facility (EFF) with Sri Lanka, and has approved this tranche based on its progress and performance.
With this, the total financial assistance provided to Sri Lanka by the IMF to date is SDR 1.02 billion, or about US$ 1.34 billion.
