Sri Lanka, April 24 -- The Sri Lanka Police Headquarters has announced a revision of the fees charged for various public services, following the issuance of a new circular by the Acting Inspector General of Police.
According to the circular, the fees for several police services have been significantly increased. Key changes include:
Sound Equipment License: Previously Rs. 300 per day, now increased to Rs. 2,000.
Police Dog Services: Previously Rs. 3,000 for 1.5 hours, now raised to Rs. 20,000. Use is subject to veterinary recommendation, especially for events such as school shows.
Mounted Police (Horse): Previously Rs. 6,000 per hour, now increased to Rs. 30,000.
