Srilanka, March 5 -- Sri Lanka Police have received the latest SPEED GUN devices from the United States, aimed at reducing traffic accidents, according to Senior Superintendent of Police and Director of Traffic Control and Road Safety, Manoj Ranawala.

The SPEED GUN is capable of capturing vehicles from up to 1.2 kilometers away and can operate effectively even at night.

The device records video evidence that can be presented in court, providing crucial information such as the vehicle's speed, the driver's photo, and the vehicle's number plate.
