Srilanka, June 13 -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has recognized Sri Lanka's continued advancement under its economic reform program, bringing the nation closer to unlocking its next funding tranche of approximately USD 344 million.

During the IMF's weekly press briefing, spokesperson Julie Kozack confirmed that a Staff-Level Agreement was reached on April 25 between IMF officials and Sri Lankan authorities, signaling the successful completion of the fourth review of the ongoing reform program.
