Srilanka, Feb. 5 -- Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Sunil Handunnetti drew attention to Sri Lanka's highly skilled workforce and emphasized the country's potential as a hub for regional manufacturing, encouraging Korean investors to utilize local labor to produce goods for markets such as India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

The minister made these remarks during a meeting on February 3 with Lee Hack Young, Deputy Speaker of the Korean Parliament. Minister Handunnetti also thanked the Korean government for providing opportunities for Sri Lankan workers in Korea and stressed the advantages of investing in Sri Lanka's growing industrial sector.
