Sri Lanka, Dec. 15 -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath has expressed his condolences to the victims of the recent attack at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.

"Deeply saddened by the attack at Bondi Beach. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Australia and reaffirm our strong opposition to terrorism in all its forms," the Minister said in a post on social media platform X.

The attack, which occurred during a Hanukkah event, claimed the lives of 15 people, including a 10-year-old girl, a British-born rabbi, and a retired police officer working as a photographer.
