Sri Lanka, Dec. 30 -- Sri Lanka Customs has recorded its highest-ever revenue in 2025, surpassing the expected target of Rs. 2,115 billion and generating an additional surplus of approximately Rs. 300 billion, Director General of Customs S.P. Arukgoda said.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake visited the Sri Lanka Customs Department this morning (30) to review the department's performance in 2025 and discuss strategic plans for 2026. During the visit, the President held detailed discussions with the Director General, directors, and senior officials of the Department.
