Sri Lanka, Sept. 18 -- The Sri Lanka-China Buddhist Friendship Association (SLCBFA) was established on 27 August 2015, with the blessings of the Chief Prelates of all Buddhist Chapters in Sri Lanka. With the financial support of the Buddhist Association of China and the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, the Association has now completed a remarkable decade of service.
Over the past ten years, the Association has played a vital role in fostering and strengthening cultural, religious, and social ties between Sri Lanka and China, reviving the historical Buddhist links that date back centuries.
