Srilanka, July 14 -- A significant step in Sri Lanka's pursuit of nuclear energy began today (14) in Colombo, with the launch of a special program to review the country's readiness for nuclear power. The event was held under the patronage of Minister of Energy, Eng. Kumara Jayakody.
This five-day review, which runs until July 18, is being conducted in collaboration with experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and is organized by the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board.
