Sri Lanka, March 11 -- In line with the social pillar of the Clean Sri Lanka programme, the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) organized a special event at The Grand Maitland, Colombo recently to commemorate International Women's Day.
As part of this initiative, essential items were distributed to pregnant female Army personnel, underscoring the Army's commitment to supporting the well-being of women in service.
The event also featured an educational session on the early detection and prevention of breast cancer, equipping attendees with vital health knowledge. Additionally, a beauty workshop was conducted, providing participants with an opportunity for self-care and personal grooming.
