Srilanka, May 24 -- A meeting took place yesterday (23) between the Hon. Minister of Environment, Dr. Dhammika Patabendi, and Abdur Rahim Siddiqui, Country Representative of the World Food Programme (WFP), at the Ministry of Environment.

The discussion focused on the "Regional Project on Strengthening the Capacity of Communities to Cope with the Impacts of Climate Change in Sri Lanka and India." Officials from the World Food Programme and the Secretary to the Ministry of Environment also took part in the meeting.Sri Lankan tourism
