Srilanka, May 23 -- The second round of bilateral political consultations between Sri Lanka and Bhutan is set to take place on May 27 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade in Thimphu, Bhutan.The talks will be co-chaired by Aruni Ranaraja, Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Overseas Employment and Tourism of Sri Lanka, and Pema Chodun, Foreign Secretary of Bhutan.

This round of consultations will review the progress made since the inaugural meeting held in Colombo in November 2015, with a renewed focus on enhancing cooperation across several key sectors. These include education, health, culture, connectivity, people-to-people exchanges, trade and investment, tourism, and climate change.
