Sri Lanka, Feb. 3 -- Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath met World Bank Executive Director Parameswaran Iyer yesterday (02) and conveyed Sri Lanka's appreciation for the World Bank's multisectoral partnership and continued support for the country's development agenda.Sri Lanka travel guide
During the discussions, Minister Herath also expressed gratitude to Iyer for his dedicated contributions to Sri Lanka throughout his tenure. The meeting took place as part of Iyer's farewell engagements.
The discussions further focused on ongoing collaborative initiatives between Sri Lanka and the World Bank, including the Post-Disaster Needs Assessment and progress on the Country Partnership Framework, which is scheduled for advancement in March 2026.
