Sri Lanka, Nov. 12 -- The historic Sri Lanka-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council was launched yesterday (11) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) at the FSC headquarters in Riyadh.
The MoU marks the first-ever B2B forum between the two countries, aimed at strengthening private sector collaboration and promoting trade and investment opportunities.
Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath, who witnessed the signing, also addressed the Federation of Saudi Chambers, highlighting new avenues for economic cooperation and investment in Sri Lanka.
