Sri Lanka, Dec. 29 -- The Ministry of Transport and Highways has taken steps to operate special transport services to Colombo for people who are coming back after visiting their villages during the Christmas and New Year season.
Accordingly, bus services have been arranged from several Provinces to Colombo, said Sanka Weerasuriya, Chief Operating Officer of the Sri Lanka Transport Board.
The National Transport Commission also stated that additional long-distance services have been planned for people coming to Colombo from various destinations.
