Sri Lanka, March 27 -- The Ministry of Finance next week will appoint a special committee to review the recently proposed salary hike for the Central Bank Employees. Due to pressure from various sections of social political parties and even from parliament this proposed 'high' salary hike for the CBSL employees was stalled.The governor said that the salary hike was proposed according to the collective agreement and other regulations that were practiced for several decades but said that they will await a recommendation by this committee.
