Srilanka, May 13 -- A tragic accident involving a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus traveling from Kataragama to Kurunegala occurred on the 11th in the Kotmale, Ramboda, and Gerandi Ella area, resulting in the deaths of 23 individuals. Several others sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
Acting on the instructions of the Acting Inspector General of Police, a special committee has been appointed to investigate the causes of the accident. This committee is headed by Senior Deputy Inspector General Ajith Rohana and includes four other senior police officers.
