Sri Lanka, Feb. 2 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa stated that the Government is trying to evade the issue faced by School Development Officers, and assured that the opposition will continue to stand with them until justice is delivered.

He made these remarks yesterday (1) while addressing the media after his second visit to the hunger strike launched by the School Development Officers' Association, being held near the Presidential Secretariat.

Premadasa said he had visited the protest site once again to extend his support on behalf of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, the Samagi Jana Sandhanaya, and all others regardless of political affiliation.
