Sri Lanka, Dec. 15 -- Schoolchildren will be allowed to travel on Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) buses this month using their November season tickets, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Prasanna Gunasena, confirmed. Students can also obtain the concession by presenting last month's travel pass.Ceylon Exports information

The concession comes as schools, previously closed due to recent disasters, are scheduled to reopen tomorrow(16). To prepare, the Ministry of Education has called a meeting today with principals, teachers, and non-academic staff to finalize reopening arrangements.
