Sri Lanka, April 7 -- The government is conducting a full investigation into the statement made by Sri Lanka Standards Institute (SLSI) Director General Dr. Siddhika Senaratne on food items that allegedly contain aflatoxins.

Co-Cabinet Spokesman, Mass Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella speaking at the Cabinet media briefing held yesterday at the Government Information Department stated that the import of coconut oil in this manner could have been going on for a long time and the government has decided to look into the matter with greater urgency.
