Sri Lanka, Feb. 16 -- The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, an organization that implements humanitarian aid, services and social service activities with the widest network in the island, implements a series of special programmes to appreciate the work of its voluntary service members.
The services of the volunteers of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society who are engaged in the provision of emergency medical treatment and services to the victims of various natural disasters and visitors of various religious and national festivals and public events where the public gathers in large numbers, Senior Vice President of SLRCS Jagath Abeysinghe said.
