Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- The Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) marked its 46th Anniversary on August1, 2025.

Speaking at the occasion, SLPA Chairman Admiral Sirimewan Ranasinghe said "Despite numerous challenges over the years, the Sri Lanka Ports Authority has made remarkable strides and today stands as a symbol of national pride," he said.

Reflecting the direction of current government policies and strategic initiatives, SLPA at present, is undergoing a major transformation.
