Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- All rounder Chamika Karunaratne was adjudged Player of the Tournament at the recently concluded SLT - T-20 League cricket tournament. Karunaratne the bowling all-rounder of Team Greens took highest number of wickets (8) during this tournament also scored 95 runs with highest unbeaten 47. He also took match winning performance of 3 for 24 in his four over spell at the final which won by Team Greens by 23 runs defeating Team Greys.Team Greens opener Kusal Mendis who scored 77 was named Player of the Final.

The tournament was conducted by SLC as final trial before forthcoming Zimbabwe tour as well as Asia Cup cricket tournament in UAE. The selectors will consider players to fill few slots to the ODI and T-20 teams. Cha...
