Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- Nathalie Yenara Ranasinghe has made Sri Lanka proud by securing third place in the 'Giga Photo Contest 2025' under the Junior Visual Storyteller category.

The contest, launched on April 1, 2025 under the theme 'The Joy of Connection', received an overwhelming 3,420 submissions from 89 countries. The judging took place from May 6-7 at the Giga Connectivity Centre in Geneva, with evaluations conducted by both a professional jury and a student jury from HEAD-Geneve (the Geneva School of Art and Design).

The theme emphasised the mission of connecting every school to the internet and ensuring that every young person has access to information, opportunities and choices.
