Sri Lanka, Jan. 15 -- A delegation from Parliament, led by Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne, departed from Colombo on Tuesday (13) to participate in the 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth (CSPOC), being held in New Delhi, India, from January 14 to 18, following an invitation extended by the Parliament of India.

The conference, chaired by Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, will convene 61 Speakers and Presiding Officers from 42 Commonwealth countries, along with representatives of four semi-autonomous Parliaments.
