Srilanka, Feb. 11 -- The Minister of Science and Technology, Chrishantha Abeysena yesterday discussed with US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie Chung the possibility of linking the ministry and its affiliated institutes with leading American government Research and Development centres and the opportunities arising for Sri Lankan scientists to receive advanced training in the United States.

The United States Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie Chung, met with the Minister of Science and Technology today at the ministry and discussed strengthening research and development (R&D) collaborations between Sri Lanka and the United States.
