Sri Lanka, May 24 -- At a time when the country's economy, which had suffered a severe collapse, is moving in a better direction, Sri Lanka managed to achieve an export income of Rs. 334 million (US$ 1,114.22 million) in April this year.

According to data released by the Central Bank and Sri Lanka Customs, the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka recorded a 1.25 percent increase in the export income of goods and services in April this year compared to April 2023.
