Srilanka, April 8 -- Egypt's Ambassador to Sri Lanka Adel Ibrahim met Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne at Parliament premises recently.
During the discussion, the Speaker highlighted the seven decades of friendship between Sri Lanka and Egypt, emphasising the deep historical and cultural relationships shared by both countries. He also noted the efforts of the Government in driving Sri Lanka towards a corruption-free and stable economy. The Speaker invited Egyptian investors to explore opportunities in Sri Lanka, particularly in key sectors such as the apparel industry and tourism.
