Sri Lanka, June 23 -- Sri Lanka and China recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Chengdu, China, to strengthen cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. On behalf of Sri Lanka, Science and Technology Minister Prof. Chrishantha Abeysena signed the agreement, while the Science and Technology Minister of China, Yin Hejun, signed on behalf of the Chinese government.
The Ministries of Science and Technology of both nations have been designated as the responsible parties for implementing the terms of the agreement.
