Sri Lanka, Feb. 8 -- Archaeologist Professor Raj Somadeva said that the excavations carried out so far in the mass graves found at the Colombo Port have identified the skeletons of 16 people, including the skeletons of two young children.

Stating that this mass grave is not a regular burial ground and that the way the bodies are buried shows that they were murdered, the professor said that the time of these events can be determined after a scientific examination and that reports will be provided as per the court's instructions.

He said that 13 skeletons have been identified so far, and in addition, a significant number of broken parts have been found.
