Sri Lanka, Sept. 5 -- The political alliance formed under Sajith Premadasa before the General Election, the Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) is planning to recruit more parties to form another political coalition under the name Samagi Sandhanaya (Unity Alliance).

The SJB which mainly consists of breakaway members from the UNP will become a member of the new coalition Samagi Sandhanaya, according to SJB National Organizer Tissa Attanayake.

Attanayake stated yesterday that several new political parties will join the alliance with SJB in the coming days. No names can be mentioned as discussions are still ongoing, he said.
