Sri Lanka, Jan. 27 -- Officials informed Parliamentarians that 16 banks have come forward to provide working capital loans required for the rapid restarting of micro-, small-, and medium-scale enterprises (MSMEs) affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
From December 16, 2025, three State banks have already commenced issuing such loans and 13 more banks, including private banks, have expressed willingness to enter into agreements to provide these loans.
