Srilanka, March 31 -- A 6-year-old boy has died from burn injuries following a suspected petrol bomb attack on a house in Rajawatta, Kalutara, on the night of March 29.

The attack, carried out by two individuals on a motorbike, also injured a 28-year-old woman.

Both victims were hospitalized, with the boy later transferred to Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigations are ongoing by the Kalutara South Police, but no arrests have been made yet.
