Sri Lanka, Dec. 26 -- Police have arrested six suspects in connection with the shooting and killing of a showroom manager in Ambalangoda on 22 December.
Two of the suspects were arrested by the Special Task Force (STF), while four others were taken into custody by the Galle Crimes Division. During the operation, a pistol and a revolver were recovered in the Hikkaduwa area, police said.
The victim, Hiran Kosala, aged 47, was shot dead at his business premises in central Ambalangoda on the morning of 22 December. According to police, two unidentified men arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire, and fled the scene.
