Sri Lanka, Sept. 30 -- Sri Lankan shuttler Dumindu Abeywickrama continued his form when he clinched the men's singles silver medal in the Colombia International Badminton Tournament (1 La Perla Del Otun future series) played in Risaralda Colombia yesterday. This is his third International medal in a row.
It was a hard fought three setter game at the men's single final as Abeywickrama and USA shuttler Enrico Asuncion competed each other more than one hour. The first set was won by USA shuttler 21-15 but second set Dumindu fought back strongly to level the game winning 21-19. The deciding third and final set once again saw two shuttlers fought hard, finally USA shuttler won 21-16 to clinch the title.
