Sri Lanka, Jan. 27 -- Former First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa has requested a two-week grace period after being summoned to appear before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today, January 27.
Through her legal counsel, she informed the division that she is unable to attend the scheduled questioning due to personal reasons.
The FCID is currently reviewing the request for the extension before rescheduling the inquiry.
