Sri Lanka, Nov. 13 -- The Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre has issued a severe lightning advisory valid from 12.00 noon to 11.00 p.m. on 13 November 2025 for the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-Western provinces, as well as the Galle and Matara districts.

Thundershowers accompanied by severe lightning are likely in these areas, with temporary localized strong winds possible during the storms. The public is advised to take necessary precautions to reduce the risk of damage or injury.
