Sri Lanka, Feb. 17 -- To mark the 73rd anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) called the 'Guardians of the skies', a series of ceremonies will be conducted starting from March 01 centralised in the Northern Province.

According to the SLAF Commander Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa the 73rd anniversary celebrations will commence from March 01 while paying attention to highlight the proud history of the SLAF and invaluable service rendered to the motherland over these seven decades.
