Sri Lanka, March 30 -- at Bar yesterday ordered to temporarily lift the travel ban imposed against Avant-Garde Chairman Nissanka Yapa Senadhipathi over the High profile Avant Garde floating armory case.

The case was taken up before the Colombo High Court Trial-at-Bar bench comprising High Court Judges Adithya Patabendi, Manjula Thilakarathne and Mahen Weeramana and the judge panel ordered that the travel ban of the accused be suspended until April 23, subject to a bond of Rs.2.5 million.

When the case was taken up yesterday, President's Counsel Sampath Mendis sought from the Court to lift the travel ban imposed on accused Nissanka Senadhipathi stating that his client wanted to seek medical treatment abroad for his ailments.
