Sri Lanka, March 31 -- The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka has through a consultation paper asked market stakeholders to provide feedback on revised corporate governance rules for listed entities.The Consultation paper is broken into 5 sections.

The sections deal with; Policies, Board and Conduct, Board Subcommittees, Relations with Shareholders and Investors, and Disclosures in the Annual Report. With the proposed changes companies will now have to disclose to the market how they expect to maintain a balance of representation between the executive and non-executive directors of the company.
