Sri Lanka, Dec. 29 -- An event to donate school supplies, including exercise books, bags and shoes to 185 schoolchildren from the Delgoda and Alubowila areas took place on Saturday (27) at the Delgoda Public Grounds.

Nishantha Sanath Kumara, an Engineer residing in Australia, and a member of the Delgoda Cricket Club, provided the financial sponsorship for this project. He held the event for the 4th time in memory of his late parents and brother. The Delgoda Cricket Club organised the programme.

Engineer Nishantha Kumara and his family members, Delgoda Grama Niladhari N.S.S. Dhammika, and members of the Delgoda Cricket Club attended the event.
