Sri Lanka, Sept. 18 -- Saudi Ambassador Khalid bin Hamoud Alkahtani yesterday (17) visited the free Noor Saudi Arabia Volunteer Programme to combat blindness and diseases that cause it, which was implemented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in "Sammanthurai", Eastern Province during the period from September 15-21.
During an official ceremony held at the government hospital in "Sammanthurai " on this occasion, Ambassador Khalid bin Hamoud Alkahtani, in his address stated that this noble humanitarian initiative reflects the core values of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are based on promoting goodwill and providing assistance to those in need around the world, in line with its humanitarian mission.
