Sri Lanka, Jan. 5 -- Former Minister Johnston Fernando arrived at the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today (05) following a police summons.

Police stated yesterday that Fernando had been instructed to appear before the FCID today, warning that a court warrant would be sought for his arrest if he failed to comply.

Investigations have been initiated in connection with allegations that the former minister caused financial losses to the government through the misuse of a lorry belonging to Lanka Sathosa.
