Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- Eighteen year old Sapumal Gihantha Fernando, an outstanding sportsman of Lexicon International School did well in Cricket and Soccer and he is good in studies too which enabled him to join Dharmaraja College, Kandy for his higher studies and to pursue Sports activities. He is selected to the Cricket Pool and Soccer Pool of Dharmaraja College since he was admitted to school and now due to Covid - 19 pandemic the sports activities have been at a standstill Sapumal has improved his goal-keeping tremendously and was selected to the Kandy District football team in 2018 and in 2019 he has taken another step forward when he was named by his Head Coach, K.M.T.Konara for the Sri lanka National Pool along with E.M.S.
