Sri Lanka, Oct. 1 -- A warrant was yesterday issued for the immediate arrest of Sampath Manamperi, a suspect in the incident of hiding two crystal meth (ICE) containers in the Middeniya area, in connection with another incident where a businessman was intimidated and a rice lorry was robbed 16 years ago, by the Colombo High Court.

When the case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Rashantha Godawela, Attorney Kalpa Perera, appearing for the accused, informed Court that his client was remanded in custody.

Accordingly, the High Court Judge ordered the prison to provide a report on the accused.
